Can electric cars be charged by solar panels?

There are few cars that run on solar panels. Like Lightyear One, Aptera. You can read about Aptera here. Yet Solar panels are not that feasible. There are challenges, like bad weather, low efficiency and more. But I think we can work on this and improve it

Driving Electric cars does not pollute, because they do not have an engine, it runs on electricity. However when manufacturing mining for lithium cobalt, lithium causes air pollution. Also while you are charging, if the electricity is not from a clean source, then it is causing air pollution. The disposing of batteries also needs to be done correctly to avoid pollution

Are electric cars automatic or manual?

Electric cars do not need gears, to run the vehicles. However, there are exceptions like Porsche Taycan Turbo S, and Audi e-Tron GT. And EV's can be build with Manual Gears in the future

What do you think about current Lithium-ion battery packs in electric cars?

I believe current Lithium-ion batteries cannot be the future of electric vehicles. Because Lithium, Cobalt are limited resources. We need to work on innovating our battery technology. Like there is a sodium-ion battery under development
