It consist of propulsion, Lander and Rover module, and no orbiter, as Chandrayan 2 Orbiter is still in he orbit
Chandrayaan is launched using LVM Mark III (Geosynchronous Satellite Launch Vehicle Mark) rocket
Chandrayan 3 has launched on 14th July 2023 and will do flyby and reach moon and attempt landing around 23-24 Aug 2023
Both the rover and lander have been designed to operate on the Moon for about 14 days.
This module carries Shape (Spector Polarimetry of Habitable Planet earth)
This payload is sent to study the spectral and polarimetric measurements of earth from the lunar orbit.
RAMBHA-LP, ChaSTE and ILSA scientific payloads are sent to study the Moon surface
Lander weighs approximately 1,750 kilograms including the rover
The lander measures about 2 by 2 by 1.1 metres
The lander will then touch down with the rover in the south polar region of the Moon, near 69.37 S, 32.35 E
APXS and LIBS are the payloads
Rover Weighs around 26 Kilograms
Rover measures about 91 by 75 by 39 cms
