If you lock one in, you won’t have to wait too long, deliveries kick off right in time for the festive season on October 17th. With a striking new look, a heavily overhauled cabin, and Audi’s signature performance backing it up, let’s dive into what makes this updated Q3 worth the hype.
Exterior Design & Styling Upgrades
Compared to the previous generation, the 2027 Audi Q3 receives a major aesthetic refresh, particularly at the front and rear:
- Fascia Changes: The lighting setup has been completely rearranged. The DRLs now sit prominently on top, while the main headlight units are positioned lower down.
- Matrix LED & ADAS: It features Matrix LEDs with adaptive headlight functionality that intelligently adjusts based on oncoming traffic. The ADAS sensors are neatly integrated right behind the front 2D Audi logo.
- Side Profile: The vehicle rides on stylish 18-inch alloy wheels wrapped in 235-section tires, complemented by front and rear disc brakes, a strong wheelbase, and generous ground clearance.
- Rear Profile: At the back, the Q3 sports modern, connecting taillights and an illuminated 3D Audi logo. It also includes a rear wiper, washer, defogger, and a subtle roof-integrated spoiler, maintaining a sleek sportback-inspired silhouette.
- Sensors: Both the front and rear bumpers are equipped with 6 parking sensors each.
Interior & Cabin Updates
The cabin has undergone a radical digital and ergonomic transformation, introducing high-end features designed for modern comfort:
- Digital Stage Cockpit: The dashboard features Audi’s latest panoramic digital stage, integrating a large central MMI touch display alongside a crisp virtual cockpit instrument cluster.
- Centre Console & Shifter: The gear selector has been cleverly relocated to the steering column, freeing up significant space on the centre console. This redesign creates extra storage compartments and allows for an upgraded high-power wireless charging pad.
- The wiper and gear selector stalks are also quite neatly placed behind the steering wheel in one complete stalk, unlike normal cars where you have two seperate stalks. It is an interesting highlight of the new Audi Q3.
- You have heated seats, not ventilated seats, but sadly all the functions are through the touchscreen now, including all the operation for AC, which is not something I am a fan of.
- Customization & Themes: Buyers can choose from multiple vibrant interior colour themes and high-quality trim options
Rear Seat Experience & Practicality
The rear passenger space has been engineered for maximum versatility and comfort:
- Sliding & Reclining Bench: The second-row seats are fully flexible, allowing passengers to slide the seat bench fore and aft, as well as recline the backrest to optimize either legroom or cargo space.
- Passenger Amenities: Rear occupants benefit from dedicated charging options, including USB-C ports, alongside generous knee room and toe space under the front seats.
- Cargo Space: With the sliding rear seats, trunk volume is highly adjustable, expanding significantly when pushed forward or when the 40/20/40 split-folding rear seats are folded flat.
Performance & Capability
- Quattro All-Wheel Drive: One of the biggest highlights in this segment is Audi’s signature Quattro All-Wheel Drive system. While competitors like the BMW X1 primarily offer front-wheel-drive configurations in lower segments, Audi brings AWD capability starting right from its entry-level SUV.
- Engine: Powered by a robust and punchy engine option, it delivers impressive performance tailored for both city commutes and highway cruising.

- Expected Price: The expected price range for the new Audi Q3 is between ₹55 Lakhs and ₹60 Lakhs. Official pricing will be revealed closer to the launch around October 17th.
- Bookings & Deliveries: Bookings are currently underway, you can book your Audi Q3 with Rs 1 lakh, and customer deliveries will commence in October, just in time for the festive season.
