About Volvo XC90 Excellence
This SUV has a hybrid motor which combines a small petrol engine and an electric motor which powers it with 407bhp, the small petrol engine improves fuel efficiency and also lowers the emission.
Earlier Volvo XC90 was powered by a 2.0 Lt diesel engine which was not powerful and had low mileage. But now it has launched new XC90 petrol with a T8 engine. It might sound like it has a big engine, but it has also the same 2.0 Lt turbo petrol engine. It also produces 225 bhp and 470 Nm torque as a diesel engine.
But it has a plug-in electric motor(It is a hybrid motor which has rechargeable batteries or another energy storage device, that can be recharged by plugging it into an external source of electric power.) in this hybrid model which makes this XC90 a special SUV, which delivers 407 bhp and 640 Nm torque, that is more than the current BMW i8 which delivers 362bhp and 570 Nm torque with the same Plug-in electric motor. Currently, Maruti Vitara Brezza has the highest mileage in the SUV range at 24.3 KMPL.
Features
This XC90 has three driving modes Pure, Hybrid and Power. Pure mode runs completely on an electric motor. Hybrid mode decides which power unit to use depending on throttle input and terrain. The power mode is when you get the real power output of 407 bhp and 640 nm torque and it does 0 to 100 KMPH in 5.6 sec.
The normal XC90 had 7 seating capacities but excellence has only 4 seating capacities. The seats are individual ones and can be reclined, offering massage functions as well as ventilation. These can be operated via a pop-up touchscreen unit which is placed between the two seats. Also on offer is the business class-like tray tables which can be folded into the armrest. The armrest has a storage area as well as USB points for charging. It also has a refrigerator with a set of exclusive crystal glasses and champagne flute holders so that your bottles are always safe.
