It is the first alfa Romeo SUV. They have introduced SUV at the right time when the SUV sales are really high. Stelivo created a record of Fastest SUV around the circuit on the Nürburgring circuit with a time of 7min 51.7 secs.
It has three trims Alfa Romeo Stelvio, Alfa Romeo Stelvio TI and Alfa Romeo Stelvio Quadrifoglio.
The Stelvio and Stelvio TI are powered by all aluminium 2.0 litre direct injection turbo engine, delivering 280 HP and 414.88 NM of torque. Matted with 8-speed automatic transmission with 0-60mph in 5.4 secs.
Alfa Romeo Stelvio Quadrifoglio is equipped with and aluminum 2.9 litre V6 bi-turbo petrol direct injection engine, developed with Ferrari technologies input. It delivers 510 HP @ 6500 rpm and 600 Nm of torque @ 2500-5000 rpm. Matted with an 8-speed automatic transmission which allows you to shift gear in just 150 milliseconds in racing driving mode.
Acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h in just 3.8 seconds and best-in-class with a top speed of 283 km/h. But the Alfa Romeo Stelvio is also incredibly efficient in terms of emission and fuel consumption, thanks to its electronically controlled cylinder deactivation system and the “sailing” function, available in Advanced Efficiency driving mode.

You can customize performance with 3 modes of driving “Alfa DNA selector”, Dynamic (Sporty), Natural(Normal) and Advanced efficiency(Economy). It has steering mounted Start/Stop button which makes easy for drivers. Tt is equipped as standard with one-piece aluminium paddle shifter integral with the steering column. It remembers the last driven mode every time you start your car. For instance if you leave the car in dynamic mode and the next day you start the car it will start with dynamic mode and that is interesting.
All three models have Alfa Q4 all wheel drive system and Quadrifoglio has all wheel drive system with torque vectoring which is rear wheel biased and can send up to 50% power to front wheels when rear wheels loose traction. It has a F1 inspired Flat bottom Alcantara and carbon fibre steering wheel. It has a sports car seating which holds you firmly even in high speeds. The driving position feels like sitting in a sports car.
Handling of this SUV is brilliant in this class. It is very agile and great in corners. The power to weight ratio is ideal 3.6 kg/HP.
