Hennessey Venom F5 301 mph
Hennessey has reveled its next generation hypercar Hennessey Venom F5 which claims to have 301 mph top speed. It will be the fastest production car once built.
Engine
It has a engine of 7.4 liter V8 engine churning out 1600 Hp and 1762.28 NM of torque. There may a 7-speed automatic or 6-speed manual transmission. The rear wing will get lower and seal the engine ducting for more speed. The 1,600-hp hypercar will use a lightweight chassis designed in-house to complement the lightweight carbon-fiber body.
The combination, when combined with the Venom F5’s low coefficient of drag, is claimed to be good for a 0-186 mph run in under 10 seconds. Going from a stop to 249 mph back to a stop will happen in under 30 seconds according to Hennessey, which is 6.44 seconds faster than the Koenigsegg Agera RS’s latest record.
The Venom GT used lotus chassis for lightweight. But the Venom F5 has its own dedicated carbon-fibre monocoque. Which makes the car weight around 1338 Kg claimed by the company.
Pricing
The Venom will cost $1.6 million, with $600,000 worth of option to customize. Only 24 will be made. Though it yet to go under production. It would be exciting to see one on the road. I would believe only after seeing a review of the Venom F5 doing everything company claimed.
