Design & Looks:
The 2025 Amaze has a more dynamic and modern exterior. The front fascia now features a wider, more prominent grille flanked by sleek LED headlamps with integrated DRLs. The sculpted hood and redesigned bumpers contribute to a sportier stance. You can see a resemblance to Honda Elevate from the front. The side profile retains the compact proportions but adds a touch of flair with new alloy wheel designs. Largely the side profile remains the same as the last generation Amaze. The wheelbase is 2470mm and the ground clearance is 172mm.
At the rear, the Amaze features stylish LED taillights that wrap around the corners, adding a touch of sophistication. And it will remind you of Honda City from the rear. Overall the new Design looks quite modern when compared to the competitors, though the new Maruti Suzuki Dzire looks a bit better than Amaze, Let us know what you think.
Interior & Features:
Step inside the cabin and find a more refined and modern interior. The dashboard layout is cleaner, and better-quality materials are used throughout. The 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system has been upgraded to an 8-inch unit, supporting wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto for seamless smartphone integration. Though the UI of the touchscreen can be improved a bit and the side bezels can be reduced, it feels a little outdated. Other notable features include automatic climate control, Automatic headlights, a wireless phone charger, a multi-function steering wheel, and a part-digital instrument cluster. You also get a Camera-based Level 2 ADAS with Lane keep assist, adaptive cruise control, blind spot camera, high beam assist and more.
The rear seat is one of the best in this segment, with very good under-thigh support and leg room, though the headroom is tight for taller passengers. The seat cushioning is good in the front and back seats. Good quality material is used in the interior and overall cabin fit and finish is good.
Engine & Performance:
The 2025 Amaze continues to be powered by Honda’s reliable 1.2-litre petrol engine with 89 HP and 110 NM of torque. This engine delivers a good balance of performance and fuel efficiency, making it suitable for both city commutes and highway drives. Transmission options include a 5-speed manual and a CVT (Continuously Variable Transmission) for a smoother driving experience. The NVH levels are good for this price point.
Though the engine is not tuned for enthusiastic driving, you won’t feel a lack of power in your day-to-day driving.
Safety:
Safety is a priority in the 2025 Amaze. The car comes standard with features like 6 airbags, ABS with EBD, and rear parking sensors, Electronic stability control, ISOFIX mounts & Hill assist. Higher variants may also offer Camera Level 2 ADAS. Amaze has not yet tested for any NCAP ratings.
Who should buy a Compact Sedan?
If you are a person who likes to be chauffeured around in relatively good comfort at this price point you should opt for Amaze. If you like a smooth driving car with very less outside noise you should opt for Amaze because the NVH levels are amazing.
Also in Sedan, you get better driving dynamics when you compare it with an SUV. The compact sedan also has better driving dynamics when compared with compact SUVs. So if you want a vehicle that has better handling over high speed with less body roll you should opt for a compact sedan.
If you like sedans and can’t afford expensive sedans then again you can opt for a compact sedan. Honda Amaze starts from Rs 8 lakh to 10.90 Lakh ex-showroom.
