Hello Guys here is the new Polo GTI
This was the one of the most awaited car which launched in NOV 2016. This car has some serious horses in it, around 192hp and 250nm torque from 1.8lt petrol engine. It is priced around 25 lakhs. The most interesting thing is, it is one of the few 3-door cars in india, and it is undoubtedly the most powerful hatch in india. This car also comes with the same DSG(Direct Shift Gearbox) same as Polo GT TSI. It is quick enough to reach 0-100 kmph in just 7.2 sec and tops at 233 kmph and there is hardly any turbolag.
Safety of this car includes 6 airbags, ABS, EBD, ESP it also has the traction control which will not lose the grip until you really go mad on the turns. It has all four wheels ventilated disc brakes. The stability is amazing in this car. It has a rear parking sensor. One important point it is limited to 99 units only
Exterior
The exterior is mostly sporty as compared to POLO GT and you can see good noticeable changes in Polo GTI. Upfront, the car gets a new honeycomb grille and front air intake, GTI badges, sportier front and rear bumpers, red radiator grille strips, LED daytime running lights with automatic range adjustment, static cornering function for fog lights and headlight washers.
The car rides on 16-inch alloy wheels.Roof spoilers, a black grained diffuser, dark red tail light clusters and chrome dual exhaust pipes. The front and rear ground clearance of the Polo GTI has been lowered by 10mm and 15mm respectively.
Interior
The interior of this hot-hatch is as sporty and premium as its exterior. Features like leather-wrapped flat-bottomed steering wheel, aluminum pedals, stainless steel door sill protectors with ‘GTI’ logo and ‘Black’ gloss interior trim details and black roofline add more to its sporty appeal. There are decorative inserts on the centre console and dashboard. The car also offers a select suspension system with two adjustment settings – Comfort and Sport.
Now talking about the engine for which this car is best at and also you will spend around 25 lakhs for it.
The transmission is really works great with the engine, there are two mode the normal drive mode and the second sport mode for extra fun. It really suits to your driving. It also got shift pedals mounted on the steering wheel for little extra fun.

Is their something wrong with Polo GTI, yes it misses Electronic OVRMs, rear camera, Automatic headlamp and vipers, front arm rest, keyless entry, start-stop button, navigation. For the amount you are paying above features are must, said that this is a drivers car, do not buy this thinking it is a regular hatch, buy this if you really mean to drive it like a sports car.
My opinion this car will be bought only those few who really love to drive and love power the most, not by someone who is just looking for a regular hatch.
