What is Natrax? Asia’s longest high-speed testing facility
Natrax (National Automotive Test Tracks) is a vehicle testing facility in Indore, India. It is reportedly Asia’s longest and the world’s fifth-largest high-speed testing facility and is used for the testing and development of cars, bikes, and other vehicles. It is situated 50km from Indore. The exact location is Pithampur Flyover Post Khandwa District, Madhya Pradesh, India. It was inaugurated on 29 June 2021. Natrax (National Automotive Test Tracks)
It has an 11.3 Km long high-speed test track, and the complete facility is spread across 3000 acres of land. Natrax has 12 tracks and 5 test labs. This track has the ability to max out any vehicle and has various real-world driving situations that will test out the vehicle’s capabilities.

High-Speed Track
It is 11.3 Km long and is built to carry out development and homologation tests for all vehicles
Dynamic Platform
It has a 300m pad connected by a 1500m stretch that will test the handling, dynamics and stability of any vehicle
Braking Track
This track is large and has surfaces of different friction coefficients. It has basalt, Ceramic, High friction asphalt, and Polish Concrete.
Gradient Track
This track tests the torque capacity of any vehicle also the efficiency of the parking brake on the slope
Fatigue Track
This track has potholes, uneven road surfaces, and twist tracks, just like our regular Indian roads. This puts vehicles in real driving condition that will check for the vehicle’s overall durability
Gravel And Off Road Track
This track’s total length is 3.5 Km long. It has gravel roads and forest roads that consist of muddy surfaces, and twisty narrow roads.
Handling Track
This track length is 3.6 Km with various turns, with the radius of the turn varying from 20 m to 300m. This track will help the overall handling of a vehicle.
Comfort Track
This track has rough and smooth concrete, rough and smooth asphalt, bridge joints, and steps to test the comfort of the vehicle.
Handling Track For 2&3 Wheeler
This track is specially designed for 2 and 3-wheelers, the length of the track is 1.5 Km.
Sustainability Track
This track has a constant 8% slope with a length of 800 m. This track is to stimulate hill driving conditions.
Wet Skid Pad
This track has a low grip surface and is designed to test the stability and traction of any vehicle.
Noise Track
This track is designed to test the road noise and the tyre noise from any vehicle.
