Koenigsegg Agera RS broke the the top speed record by slasing bugatti chiron. Earlier it broke the 0-400-0 record in just 36 secs and 2535m. Bugatti Chiron did 0-400-0 in 42 secs and 3112m. It looks like Agera RS is the fastest production car in the world.
The World record of 267 mph which was set by Bugatti Veyron Supersport, was broken by Agera RS by 17 mph reaching 284 mph. The run was done on a closed road near Pahrump, Nevada and it was driven by factory driver, Niklas Lilja.
But this new video shows that Agera RS hits 284.3 mph. Two runs of Agera RS attempting to break the top speed record. At first, run it reached 272 mph and in the second run 284.3 mph.
Hennessey Venom F5 just revealed that it could reach 301mph but it is not in production yet, so Agera RS is the fastest production car until we see a test video of Venom F5 reaching 301 mph.
