Hello Guys the new Volkswagen Tiguan is launched in india around 28 lakhs. Tiguan was appeared in 2016 auto expo Delhi. It is launched in tow variants Comfortline and Highline with only diesel option and an automatic transmission. Tiguan has a 2.0 litre four-cylinder TDI turbocharged diesel engine with 7-speed Dual Clutch transmission, which produces 147 bhp of power and 340 nm of torque. Tiguan has all wheel drive 4motion which is Volkswagen permanent four-wheel drive system. Comfortline is the base variant with the price tag of 28 lakhs and the Highline is the top end variant with 31 lakhs.
The comfortline variant receives LED headlamps and taillamps, integrated daytime running light and body coloured bumpers as standards. It has 17 inch alloy wheel, three-zone automatic air-conditioning with rear controls, electrically adjustable front seats with driver memory function, automatic headlamp.
Safety feature include ABS, EBD (Electronic Brakeforce Distribution), ESC (Electronic Speed Control), 6 airbags, curtain airbags, hill ascent/hill hold function, cruise control, TPMS, brake assist, lane assist departure warning system and pedestrian monitoring as safety across line up.
In addition to above features the highline variant also gets panoramic sunroof, illuminated front scuff plates, 18-inch alloy wheels, keyless entry with push-button start, 8-inch touchscreen display with navigation, Apple CarPlay, Android Auto and MirrorLink connectivity, self-sealing tyres and reverse parking cameras.

The new Tiguan is build in MQB platform which is lightweight. It has a wheelbase of 2,677mm, width of 1,839mm, height of 1,632mm and the length is 4,485mm. Though the ground clearance is quite low compared to indian roads, but the bootspace is good with 615 litres which can be extended up to 1665 litres by folding up the rear seats.
